For those of us interested in social media, it's about finding a community of peers, making connections, learning from and supporting each other.

Social Media Breakfast | Ottawa wants to help you do this by bringing you interesting, entertaining and timely speakers along with lots of real networking time over our (mostly) monthly breakfasts.

What's the event format?

We'll keep the event to within 90 minutes, focusing on people meeting each other. This month, we have a guest speaker to spark conversation and discussion.

Who's coming?

Our February Breakfast guest speaker is Stuart MacDonald, CEO and Founder of Tripharbour.

Tripharbour is an online cruise vacation e-commerce and community site. It operates at tripharbour.ca for we Canucks and at tripharbor.com for our American neighbors. A self-described e-business and marketing geek, Stuart will talk about launching Tripharbour in a Social Web world. Of course, he'll bring along his knowledge and experiences having founded Expedia.ca in Canada, acted as the Chief Marketing Officer of Expedia.com and been one of the originators of mesh, Canada's leading web conference.
